The picture at the top is all the books in the series The Chronicles of Narnia. One of the most enjoyable collections of books I am currently reading. The stories about witches, talking lions, talking horses, friendly giants, and so much more. This series is really well developed. The characters, the plot, I love it all. I hope you have read the series. Have you read the series? If yes, great. If not, read this series at all costs!!! Leave this blog. Actually, I would appreciate it if you stayed.
To be honest I read the first book of the series called The Magician’s Nephew. My family recommended it. I gave it a shot and loved it. Once I finished The Magician’s Nephew I was hooked on the series. The current book of the series I’m reading is The Horse and His Boy. The Chronicles of Narnia is intended for young readers so that is a partial thing that will limit the amount who buy/rent the books. The Horse and His Boy is the third book in the series. I am so far enjoying it.
I won’t give any spoilers but here is a background for the books. The books are based in a place called Narnia. Usually, people go into Narnia using a special entrance in the books. The third book I’m reading is already set in Narnia. There is no special entrance. Usually, in Narnia, the main characters go on adventures. Like I said earlier there are magical beasts, horses, and very foul creatures. Usually, those are evil. The narrator at times can be hilarious. But that is just my opinion. One big reason I like the series and hope you will is that it has talking animals. Sometimes it seems like the animals are smarter than humans. The author of these wonderful books is C. S. Lewis. These are all in paperback. Just look at the top picture.
I have all seven books of the series. My mom, who bought the books, must’ve known I would have liked them. Do you like fantasy? Can you handle the battles, mysterious worlds, the awesomeness that is Narnia? Try it out.
